WHAT EXACTLY IS TALLOW?
Tallow is beef suet that has been rendered (fat found around the loins and kidneys). All tallow used in Tallow Works products is derived from grass-fed, pasture-raised animals and gently rendered by myself or trusted suppliers! 

Animal fats naturally contain fat-soluble vitamins A, D3, E, and K2 and vitamins B1, B4, and B12, all essential for good skin health. Unlike harmful ingredients and chemicals in commercialized skin creams you see on the shelves, tallow is not prone to spoil or turn rancid. On a molecular level, tallow does not oxidize or break down by releasing free radicals into your system. In fact, tallow is Latin for sebum because tallow is nearly identical to the sebum our skin secretes. Moreover, tallow is biologically similar to our cellular membranes in that tallow is over 50% saturated fat, just like the lipids found in youthful, toned, and healthy skin. Besides fat-soluble vitamins, tallow is extremely anti-aging and anti-inflammatory and has anti-microbial properties. Grass-fed, grass-finished tallow contains conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), palmitoleic acid (omega 7), palmitic acid, alpha-linoleic (omega-3), linoleic acid (omega-6), oleic acid (omega-9), and stearic acid. These create a profoundly moisturizing, hydrating, and exceptionally healing skin cream.

TALLOW BALM: HOW DO I USE IT? 
Your most helpful skincare tool is Tallow Balm from Tallow Works Co. All body and face lotions can be swapped out for Tallow Balm. For a variety of ailments, Tallow Works Co.'s tallow balm is used: for acne, aftershave, age spots, athlete's foot, chafing, chapped lips, chapped nipples from breastfeeding, cracked heels, cradle cap, c-section scars, deodorant, diaper rash, dry skin, ear infections in humans and animals, eczema, face primer, hemorrhoids, impetigo, itching, jock itch, kitchen burns, makeup, mastitis, new tattoos, pain management, perioral dermatitis, pet hot spots, pink eye, psoriasis, rashes, ringworm, rosacea, scars, scrapes, scratches, seborrheic dermatitis, sunburns, sun-damaged skin, shingles, skin tag removal, stretch marks, tennis elbow, vaginal yeast infections, wart removal, wrinkles. The possibilities are limitless. Anytime you need it, you may apply it anywhere on your body.

DO YOU USE ONLY ORGANIC INGREDIENTS?
Organic, in my opinion, is always best for our health and the earth. As a result, I purchase all of my ingredients from sources that strictly adhere to organic standards and are clearly labelled as such.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?
While we use only natural components in our products, we encourage you to check with your child's healthcare professional if you have any concerns. We offer our Raw tallow balm for newborns, free of essential oils.

WHICH ONE OF YOUR PRODUCTS WOULD YOU SUGGEST USING AS AN EYE CREAM? 
Grounded! It has frankincense, which can support skin and enhance its tone and elasticity, defences against infections or blemishes and appearance as someone ages. Additionally, it could aid in lifting and toning the skin.

CAN I STORE MY TALLOW BALM AT ROOM TEMPERATURE?
Refrigeration is not necessary for any of our other tallow balms. If you want to store some tallow balm in your refrigerator in case you burn yourself, there's nothing wrong with using cold tallow balm to ease the burn! If you buy many tallow balms at once, you may keep them in the refrigerator to extend their shelf life. If not, we suggest you keep your tallow balm in a cool, dry, and dark place.

HOW LONG DO YOUR PRODUCTS LAST?
It has a long shelf life and exceptional stability due to the nature of tallow and argan oil, which are both high in vitamin E and act as a natural preservative. Around 9 to 12 months is ideal for preserving it because the fragrance can change slightly.
